Fig Jam

Fig Jam... So Yummy...

Over the last couple years, I have fallen for figs. The first time we got them in our CSA basket I was a bit overwhelmed… and now I eagerly await them. They mean that summer evenings might have just a bit of cold nipping as the sun sets. They mean that cinnamon, and nutmeg, and cardamom will be in high demand in the kitchen. They mean that the seasons are transitioning.

Fig Jam
Simply fantastic, spreadable and spicy, ideal for lingering summer and autumn nights.

  1. 1 qt figs
  2. 1/4 cup sugar
  3. 1/2 tsp apple pie spices
